       I got out of work early on Friday,so I stopped at a couple of sales.At the 2nd sale,I bought a Casey Pottery pitcher($1.00).On Saturday,my wife and I had a yard sale.We did really bad and got rained on.On Sunday we went to 8 sales.The only thing I found was a Spider-man mouse pad(.25).So it wasn't a very good weekend.I'll put a picture of the pottery pitcher on the Recent Finds 2 Page.I have a site for you to check out.It is Odysee TV.You will vind some videos of animals here.A very nice site and educational.Have a great week and July 4th.-Don

       Friday,I got out of work eary,so I picked up my wife and we went to 4 sales.She bought 2 tubes of body cream($1.00).That is all for Friday.On Saturday,we went to about 25 sales.I first got 2 Red Cliff amber glass,water goblets($2.00).then a few sales later,my wife got an umbrella($1.00).Then I found a Williamsburg Pottery candle holder(.25).At one of the last sales I got a Wade Irish Porcelain small pot for free.That's it for this past weekend.I will post a couple of pictures on the Recent Finds 2 Page.I am going to try to have a yard sale this coming Saturday.It is time to unload some of my stuff.I'll let you know how we do,so come back and see.Have a great week.Don

         This past Friday,I went to 12 sales.At the 2nd sale,I found a Delft Blue cup from Holland(.25).A few sales later,I bought a Teresa Brewer record album($1.00).At the next to last sale,I got a colored glass Peacock($1.00)and a small Fenton milk glass vase($1.00).On Saturday morning,I went to25 sales.I found and bought ,quite a few things,starting with a women's Armitron wrist watch($3.00),brand new at the first sale.At the next sale,I bought a Jeff Gordon leather belt with a really nice buckle($1.00).A few sales later,I got an old George Washington cast figure(.50).At the next sale I bought a Bennington Potters 12" tray and small bowl($2.00),a wood desk organizer($2.50) and a small rug(.50).About 3 sales later,I got a Westmoreland grape paneled milk glass vase($1.00).At one of the last sales,I got a very nice Tuscan English Bone China,cup & saucer set($1.00) and a pair of gold filled ball earrings($1.00) for my wife.At the last sale,I got 15 brand new golf balls($1.00).I then stopped by home and picked up my wife and daughter,and went to 6 more sales.At the last of the 6 sales,I got a Lenox blue & white Dolphin($3.00) and a Glass Baron clear & gold Dolphin($1.00).So it was a great day of sales.I'll post a few pictures on the Recent Finds Page.Thanks for stopping by and come again to see what treasures I find.Have a great week.Don

        We are back from our vacation.We went down to Delaware to seemy wife's mother,on May 30th.I went to Bargin Bill's Flea market the next morning and bought 6 items.The first was a 1/24 Jeff Gordon car for my grand-son($5.00).Next I got a metal scottie dog($3.00).Then I bought 4 pieces of Occupied Japan.A small cup(.10),a small Oriental boy(.50),a woman figure($5.00) and a Colonial man figure(.25).The next Saturday,June 6th,we were at my sister-in laws.We all went to a tee-ball game that my grand-son was in and then to some yard sales.I didn't find ant thing to buy,but my brother-in-law got a couple of great deals.He got a telescope($5.00) and a train set($10.00).My sister-in-law got a few toys for my grand-son(.25-$1.00).I looked around a few other shops while down in Maryland,but bought nothing.We went to Ocean City,Maryland,a couple of days and had a great time there.I'll post a couple of pictures on the Recent Finds Page.Tommorrow and Saturday,I'll be out to a few sales.I'll post again on Monday night about what I find,so come back and see then.Have a great weekend.Don

     Another great wekend.I went to 32 sales on Saturday morning.At the 4th sale,I found a Radio Shack ,Nature Sound,Travel Alarm Clock(.50).It works great.At the next sale I bought a Pilkington Ceramic Tile,with a "Maple Sugaring in Vermont"picture on it(.25) and a little metal Horse(.25).Quite a few sales later,I got a cup with a Tabby Cat on it(.25).I got that for my daughter.She has a cat that looks just like the one on the cup.Across the street,I found a nice Amber Glass,Moon & Stars,Creamer & Sugar Bowl set(.50) and 2 small cups made by Stone Soldier Pottery,in Vermont(.50).That's it for Saturday,but I had a great day and the weather was fantastic.On Sunday morning my wife and I went to 3 sales.At the first,my wife got a Bathroom Rug for our daughter(.50).at the 3rd stop,a small junk shop,I found a Occupied Japan Woman figure($3.00).I have a fantastic site for you to check on.It is  Al Lowe's Humor Site.I'm giving you the link to his Computer Enhancers page,but check out the whole site.I'll put a few pictures on the Recent Finds Page.Check them out and come back again.I will be going on vacation this Friday,for Two Weeks.Yahoo!!!I'll be going to a big flea market in Delaware on Saturday.I'll update this journal when I can.So stay tuned in for that and have a great week.Don

        This past weekend was the 9th Annual Woodlawn Neighborhood Sale.I was out,by myself,and went to 55 sales.I bought several things and seen some friends,so I had a great time.At the 3rd sale,I hit the jackpot.I found a few things here.The first is 3 sets of cups and saucers by J & G Meakin,in the Anne Hathaway's Cottage,pattern($2.50).Also at this sale I got a Beatrix Potter's,"Hunca Munca"mother mouse and her 5 little mice,figure($1.00),a Viking Glasss,red glass goblet(.50),a gold mouse made of metal(.50)and a small metal rocking horse(.50).A couple of sales down the same street,I got a Moraff's Mahjogg PC game($1.00).The next sale,across the street,I got a Williamsburg Pottery pitcher(.25).About 5 or 6 sales latter,I found a Royal Albert trinket box with the Old Country Roses pattern($1.00)and 2 American Revolution Bicentenial metals($2.00).They are the 1972,George Washington and 1974,John Adams.After that find,I didn't find anything else for a while,but seen a couple of friends that I havn't seen in a while.Near the end of my day,I got a bottle of cologne for my wife(.10) and an elephant key chain(.10).On Sunday,my wife and I,went to 12 more sales.The only thing I bought was a Lenox dolphin(.10).It was a great weekend.I hope there will be more like this.I'll post a few pictures on the Recent Finds Page.I have a really great site for you this week.It is Radio Lovers.This site has radio shows of long ago,such as,Amos&Andy,Blondie,Al Jolson Show,Artur Godrey,Hopalong Cassidy,Gene Autry,Buck Rodgers,Batman and much more.Check this site out and have a great week.Don

           This past Saturday morning,my wife and I went to 14 sales.At the second sale,I found an old book(.50).It is from 1875 and is a Zoology book from England.A few sales later I got a jacket($1.00).Both things are in great condition.I'll post pictures of them on the Recent Finds Page.I have 3 sites for you this week.The first is Spacewander,where you can take a virtual trip into space.The next is Cool Cosmos.Here is alot of fun and educational stuff about the space.The last is Hubble Site.There is alot of pictures taken by the Hubble telescope.Check these sites out and have a great week.Don

      Gourgeous weather on Saturday.The temperture got up tp 89 degrees,a new record high,for that date.So,we went to 20 sales.My wife found a nice shirt($2.00)at one of the early sales and later got a coffee mug with angels on it(.10).That;s all we bought,but it was great to get out to that many.Yesterday was almost as nice.My wife and I went to the park and walked around the lake.We did stop at 1 sale,but found nothing to buy.I have a really great site for you.It is the Internet Archive.There is a Wayback Machine,near the top.If you put an online address in it,it will show you what that site looked like in past years.There is also a Live Music Archive where you can listen to live concerts of older groups.Some big bands and some you have never heard.Also a Audio Archive and a Moving Images Archive,are great spots to check out.So,check this site out and have a great week.Don

      Things are  looking up.We went to 4 sales on friday afternoon,but found nothing to buy.On Saturday morning,we went to 8 sales.At the first one,I bought a handmade,amber glass,pedestal dish($1.50).That is it,but at least there were a few sales to go to.This coming weekend is supposed to be very nice,so hopefully there will be alot more sales.I will post a picture of the dish,on the Recent Finds page.I have another site for you to check on.If you like to read,There is a great site for you.It is The Online Book Page.Check it out and have a great week.Don
